Sam's Local Locksmith, a mobile locksmith based in West Chester, Pennsylvania, owns and runs this website. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
The information on this site
Our guides and pages share general information about locks, keys and the problems people run into with them. Every car, door and lock is different, so the information may not fit your situation exactly, and it does not replace having a locksmith look at your lock in person. Use your own judgment, and when in doubt, call us.
Safety comes first
If a child, a pet or any person is locked inside a car or a house, call 911 first. Calling emergency responders always comes before calling a locksmith in that situation.
After a break-in or a forced door, call the police first and leave the door as it is until they are done. Once they have finished, you can call us about the lock.
Contact form and phone calls
Sending a message through the contact form does not book a visit. A visit is arranged when we speak with you on the phone and agree on the work and a time. We tell you on the phone when we can be there, and that depends on where you are and what we are already working on.
Our hours and service area
We are open Sunday to Thursday from 7 AM to 10 PM and Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM. On Saturday we are closed. We work across Chester County, in nearby towns in Delaware and Montgomery counties in Pennsylvania, and in northern New Castle County, Delaware.
The work itself
Before we start any job, we explain what we plan to do and answer your questions. The details of each job are agreed between you and us at the time of the visit, not through this website.
